What is a Sacred Fire Circle?
A Sacred Fire Circle is a conscious collaborative celebration intended to inspire participates to have a meaningful, transformational, empowering experience.

People of all paths are welcome to find common ground through drumming and rhythm, dance and movement, chanting and song with creative personal expression.
At the center of the circle we light a fire, then dance, sing, speak, play and pray winding our way around the fire. This contemporary adaptation of an ancient practice is designed so that people of all beliefs can do their own empowerment work around the fire in the co-creation of a profoundly inspiring event.
Just as planets circle the sun in a cosmic dance, we too, circle the central fire. This vortex of energy is like an alchemists flask, and we are the transformed ingredients turning our "lead" - stuff that hold us back, to "gold"- our illuminated Spirits.
The fire circle is alchemy in action.
This Experience is well suited for those who already love:
Drumming and Percussion (African drumming, Middle Eastern frame drumming, didjeridoos, gongs and bells, shamanic rattling)
Singing and Spoken Word (circle songs, harmonic overtoning, beat-boxing, spoken word and freestyle poetry)
Ecstatic Dance (belly-dancing, African dance, fire dancing, contact improv and trance dancing)
Ritual and Ceremony (Shamanic, Pagan, Druid, Ritual Theatre)
Personal Empowerment/Spiritual Work (Alchemy, Hermeticism, Mystery schools, Druidism, Wicca, Tantra, yoga, breathwork, sweat lodges and Sun Dances, Shamanism, Jedi training, energy work, ceremonial journeys,ritual theatre)
The Emerging New Paradigm (deep connections with community, values of authenticity, integrity, sustainability, intentional communities)
There is an opening and closing ritual and spontaneous ceremony throughout the night.
All are invited to share their gifts of spoken word, poetry, chants and personal rituals.
Most of what happens around the fire is improvised.
We pay careful attention to one another when improvising our journey, so that the collective focus is maintained.
This approach is saturated with synchronicity, serendipity and creative flow that is beautiful, poignant and breathtakingly exciting.
After a while, most participants enter into a state of consciousness often referred to as "the zone," a non-drug-induced,
heightened state of consciousness in which we tap into our greatest potential. This shift is the profound yet tangible magick of the Fire Circle. This is why we encourage you to stay in the circle past your obstacles of resistance.

After a time, we begin to see our lives in a clearer light. We tap into visions of how to solve our great challenges. Extraordinary music and dance emanate from our bodies.
Fire Circle music is created primarily by acoustic percussive instruments and human voice, with the addition of harmonically resonant instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, bells, flutes, and didgeridoos.
Amplified instruments are not incorporated, but can be shared at the talent show on Saturday.
Sacred Fire Circles are different from typical music festivals in that it is the collective that makes the magick, not just a few standing up on a stage. At first, this may seem hard to imagine, but it becomes easier and easier to tap into the energy.
When this happens, our lives are irrevocably changed for the better.
